 Finally the red grass did develop some character after being just red for weeks:

 

Lavender, sweet and sturdy and definitely the right plant for careless plant-keepers just like Mr Paula and myself.

The building site opposite the street is almost completed. Do you like what you see? Could this be a coincidende – I mean the Paula residence never had plants growing as high as these plants. :-/
